Training on P.S.P and on genre-based violence

Women Now has participated in a training that took place in the Hotel of Schaerbeek. Sixta Bravo, founder and social assistance of Women Now, has opened the sessions starting with subjects of great importance currently, such as genre, sexuality, and violence. At her side, María Isabel Pastrana, one of our psychologies, has closed the two-days long training with the professional workers of the Hotel of Schaerbeek by talking about the negative psychological effects suffered by victims of gender-based violence. She also offered initial emergency support based on the application of psychological first aid.

Women Now wishes to support social assistance professionals by offering them up-to-date knowledge, but also by helping them develop the skills necessary to support the most vulnerable people in a responsible and caring way. This is why we would like to thank the Municipal Administration of Schaerbeek for their trust and availability.
