Positive Ageing

Do you know the term “positive ageing”? Women Now aspires to be an association that talks about elderly people, their problems, and the situations they face in modern society. We would like to help everyone see that it is possible to grow old in a new and energetic way.

The WHO (World’s Health Organisation) defines positive ageing as a process that can optimise health, participation and security so as to improve the quality of life of the ageing population. There are numerous aspects in our life that we can prioritise in order to guarantee ourselves a happy ageing.

Women Now wishes to become a source of information and representation for elderly people and their well-being. We would like to stand with a part of the population that is often forgotten in the public sphere and that needs to be active and present in their communities. Together we can change the ways our society views ageing, from a negative subject to a mundane and positive topic.

Thank you! And have a positive ageing!

See you soon!
